Being there for your loved ones when you can't be

Services

Legacy Senior Cares Offers two Types of Live in Senior Care Services.

24/7 Attentive Care

Some older adults need continuous care to remain in the comfort of their own homes. People requiring 24/7 attentive care may wake often, wander, suffer from dementia or have a chronic medical condition requiring continuous monitoring. For these seniors, Senior Cares can provide two or three live in caregivers who work 8- or 12-hour shifts to ensure an elder’s needs are met at all times.

Non-Medical Care Services

Legacy Senior Care services enhance the quality of life for people. Our trusted care professionals
can assist them or their loved ones with ongoing needs within their homes. From activities of daily living to companionship we promote stability, personal growth and individual development.

My Approach & Philosophy

My Approach to Non-Medical Senior Care As a caregiver, my primary goal is to provide high-quality care and support to seniors while respecting their independence, dignity, and privacy. My approach to care is centered on the belief that every individual has unique needs and preferences, and it is my responsibility to tailor my care accordingly.

To this end, I follow a person-centered approach to care, which involves actively listening to and collaborating with seniors to understand their goals and desires, and working with them to develop a care plan that meets their needs. I believe in the importance of building trust and maintaining open lines of communication with seniors and their loved ones, and I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for all those in my care.

I also believe in the value of promoting autonomy and independence in seniors. While I am always available to provide assistance and support when needed, I encourage seniors to participate in their own care as much as possible and to make their own decisions whenever feasible. I believe that this helps seniors to maintain their sense of self-worth and dignity, and to feel more in control of their lives.

Finally, I am committed to staying up to date on best practices and research in senior care, and to continually learning and improving my skills and knowledge in this field.

Philosophy on Non-Medical Senior Care

My philosophy on non-medical senior care is centered on the belief that every senior has the right to live with dignity, respect, and independence, regardless of their age or physical or cognitive abilities. I believe that it is my role as a caregiver to support seniors in achieving their goals and maintaining as much independence as possible, while also providing the assistance and support that they need to live comfortably and safely.

I believe that non-medical care can play a vital role in helping seniors to live full, meaningful lives, by providing companionship, assistance with activities of daily living, and support with managing their health and well-being. I also believe that non-medical care can be an important source of socialization and connection for seniors, helping them to feel less isolated and more connected to the world around them.

In short, my philosophy on non-medical senior care is one of compassion, respect, and support, and my goal is always to help seniors to live their best lives, in the way that they desire
